Technostok – Managing Multilingual B2B eCommerce Product Data for European Industrial Tools Distributor

Darantasia has also introduced its B2B online storefront named Technostock. It is a B2B eCommerce website made with Adobe Commerce platform that sells its industrial products to its business buyers.

The Technostok B2B commerce website is currently doing business where different brands and machining masters all around the world can purchase drilling equipment tools in bulk.

They have a wide range of products like cutting tools, drilling tools, centring, broaching, etc, that provide special quality tooling solutions. They do also have partnerships with popular brands like PGUHRIFR, PREVTOIT, PROSEPFR.

B2B eCommerce for Industrial Tools

Darantasia wanted to create a dedicated e-commerce channel to market and sell its products. Through its online platform, it aims to provide the highest quality tooling and special tooling solutions for professionals, job shoppers and machining masters.

While selecting the e-commerce platform, the client went for Adobe Commerce. It comes in three editions- Magento Open Source, Adobe Commerce Cloud and Adobe Commerce B2B.

Choosing Adobe Commerce B2B edition was the perfect fit to fulfil their exact requirements. Because there several essential business features are available on this platform. Such as quick orders, requisition lists, purchase orders, shared catalogs, and quote negotiation.

Export B2B Product Data with PIM

The initial challenge for the client was to find a PIM (product information management) platform by which the client can easily manage its B2B product content data to export on Technostok.

There are several PIM platforms available today like Akeneo, Syndigo, PIMworks, inRiver, and Pimcore. The client decided to go for Akeneo PIM as it is the best open-source PIM platform with built-in task management.

Akeneo Multilingual Content

Since the company operated in multiple countries, it needed to display product content in its local geographic languages.

Therefore the client needed to manage complex product data in PIM and then export it on the website matching the correct locale and store view.

I found them through Google. I was looking for a vendor who could offer a solution to connect our PIM and the margin tool. Ultimately, I chose Webkul because they were already proposing the connector extension.

Webkul offered a prebuilt solution to easily connect the Akeneo platform with multiple e-commerce systems. Further, enabling product content to sync in different languages.

Sync PIM and Ecommerce Systems

The client has purchased Magento 2 Akeneo Connector to import and export product attributes, descriptions, pictures and other listing information from PIM to the e-commerce website.

With the help of this, businesses can connect their online store and can manage thousands of products in PIM. The client also uses the group bundle connector to export and import the grouped and bundled product data from Akeneo to Magento 2.
