Il Nuovo Mondo wanted to incorporate pre order feature into their online store which allows customers to order out of stock or unavailable products. For this, they purchased our PrestaShop Pre Order module.
The module helped the retailer save the sales by letting customers reserve the products in advance and enhance their shopping experience by never showing the disappointing – ‘Product Out of Stock’ label!
Il Nuovo Mondo had a few customer requirements for which they contacted us.
Remove dynamic payment option
By default, PrestaShop Pre Order module provides three payment options: full, partial, and dynamic. Customers can use a payment option as per need to pre order the product.
They wanted to remove the dynamic payment options from the store which we successfully removed.
Alternate way to set preorder
While setting a pre order on product, the merchant has to select a date on which the product will be available for purchase. Il Nuovo Mondo wanted an additional option that can allow them to set the availablility according to month & year without choosing the exact date.
We added an option in the back office that lets admin select the tentative time for product availability.
Customer Group Restriction
Il Nuovo Mondo wanted to restrict the use of partial payment method to book a preorder product for B2B customer group. If a customer who belongs to B2B customer group opens a pre order page, then partial payment option should not be visible to them.
Our team understood their requirement and added the restriction for B2B customer group.
The client shared a few more requirements with us that we successfully delivered.
